Eligibility Criteria:

Here is a post-wise breakdown of what qualifications and experience you need. All experience will be counted only after the date you completed your required qualification.

  • Medical Officer ‘E’ — Nuclear Medicine (Post 01): M.D. / D.N.B. in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent recognised by NMC. You also need 3 years of post-degree experience in Nuclear Medicine at a Teaching Hospital.
  • Medical Officer ‘E’ — Radio-Diagnosis (Post 02): M.D. / D.N.B. in Radiology or Radio-Diagnosis or equivalent NMC-recognised degree, plus 3 years of post-degree experience in Radiodiagnosis at a Teaching Hospital.
  • Medical Physicist ‘C’ (Post 03): M.Sc. (Physics) with Diploma in Radiological Physics (AERB approved) and a valid RSO Certificate from AERB. Minimum 1 year clinical experience as a Medical Physicist. Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or C++ are a plus.
  • Scientific Officer ‘SB’ — Transfusion Medicine (Post 04): M.Sc. in Biochemistry / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology / Microbiology with 50% marks, plus Degree or Diploma in DMLT / Blood Bank Technology. Minimum 1 year experience in an FDA-licensed Blood Bank.
  • Scientific Assistant ‘C’ — Nuclear Medicine (Post 05): RSO Level-II certification (RPAD/AERB) is mandatory. Qualification routes: B.Sc. + PGDFIT/DMRIT (1 yr exp); B.Sc. NMT + PGDNMT 4-yr (1 yr exp); B.Sc. NMT 3-yr (3 yrs exp); or M.Sc. NMT (no extra experience needed).
  • Scientific Assistant ‘B’ — Biomedical Engineering (Post 06): Diploma in Biomedical / Medical Electronics with 3 years total experience, including at least 1 year in a hospital setup.
  • Scientific Assistant ‘B’ — Physiotherapy (Post 07): B.Sc. (Physiotherapy) / BPT with 50% marks from a recognised university and minimum 1 year of relevant experience. Oncology patient experience is preferred.
  • Scientific Assistant ‘B’ — Radiation Oncology (Post 08): Either B.Sc. (Physics) 50%+ with PG Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology (AERB) and 1 yr experience, OR B.Sc. Radiotherapy Technology (3/4 yr, AERB) with 3 yrs experience.
  • Technician ‘C’ — Networking (Post 09): Diploma in Electronics/Computer Engg. or Computer Science graduate or any graduate with 1-yr Computer Technology certificate, plus valid CCNA. Minimum 3 years IT operations experience covering AS/400 systems, Windows Server, and network hardware.
  • Technician ‘C’ — Operation Theater (Post 10): 12th Science pass with a 6-month or 1-year Diploma in OT/ICU/Electronics/Dialysis from a recognised institution, and 3 years of relevant experience.

Age Limit:

Age is reckoned as on 11 June 2026.

  • 45 Years: Posts 01 & 02 (Medical Officers)
  • 35 Years: Posts 03, 04 & 05 (Medical Physicist, Scientific Officer, Scientific Assistant ‘C’)
  • 30 Years: Posts 06 to 10 (Scientific Assistant ‘B’ and Technician ‘C’)

Age Relaxation:

  • SC / ST — 5 years | OBC — 3 years | PwD (General/EWS) — 10 years | Ex-Servicemen — Service length + 3 years | TMC employees — up to 5 years.
  • No age relaxation for reserved category candidates if the post is advertised for UR category only.

Selection Process:

  • Posts 01–03 (Medical Officer & Medical Physicist): Personal Interview only. No written examination.
  • Posts 04–08 (Scientific Officer & Scientific Assistant): Written Examination (100 marks, MCQ) followed by Interview. Questions based on respective specialisation.
  • Posts 09–10 (Technician ‘C’): Written Examination (100 marks, MCQ) and a qualifying Skill Test. Skill Test marks are not added to the final score.
