Educational Qualification: Graduation. Sports norm: at least 3rd position in World Cup / World Championships (Junior/Senior) / Asian Games / Commonwealth Games (Senior) / Youth Olympics / Champions Trophy (Hockey).
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on 01 Jan 2027 (born between 02 Jan 2002 and 01 Jan 2009, both dates inclusive)
- Level-3/2 –
Educational Qualification: 12th (+2) pass or equivalent, or Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship / ITI (NCVT/SCVT) for technical categories. Sports norm: represented India in Category-B events, or at least 3rd position in Category-C events / Senior, Youth or Junior National Championships / National Games / All India Inter University Championships, or 1st position in Federation Cup (Senior).
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on 01 Jan 2027 (born between 02 Jan 2002 and 01 Jan 2009, both dates inclusive)
- Level-1 –
Educational Qualification: 10th pass or ITI or NAC granted by NCVT.
Sports norm: represented India in Category-C events, or at least 3rd position in Federation Cup (Senior), or represented a State with at least 8th position in Senior National Championships, or at least 3rd position in Youth/Junior National Championships / National Games / All India Inter University Championships.

Salary Details:
- Level-5/4 – Level 5: Rs. 29,200/- | Level 4: Rs. 25,500/- (initial pay per month)
- Level-3/2 – Level 3: Rs. 21,700/- | Level 2: Rs. 19,900/- (initial pay per month)
- Level-1 – Rs. 18,000/- (initial pay per month)
Selection Process
- Sports Trials (Game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observation – 40 marks; only FIT candidates scoring 25 or more move ahead)
- Assessment of Sports Achievements (50 marks) and Educational Qualification (10 marks)
