Eligibility Conditions:
Age Limit: (as on 01 Jun 2026)
- For all posts (Draughtsman, Hindi Typist, SKT, Operator Communication, OEM (OG), Electrician): Between 18 to 27 years.
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:
- SCs/STs: 5 years.
- Other Backward Class: 3 years.
- Central Government Civilian employee and departmental candidates (min. three years regular and continuous service): Up to 45 years for SC/ST, 43 years for OBC, and 40 years for UR.
- Ex-Servicemen: Deduct the period of continuous service (min. six months) from actual age plus 3 years, in addition to other category relaxations.
- Ex-Agniveers: 3 years, with an additional 5 years for the first batch of Agnipath Scheme.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years.
- Jammu & Kashmir Migrant: 5 years.

Essential Educational Qualifications/Experience:

Selection Process
All candidates will undergo a recruitment process comprising:
- Written Examination
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) (Qualifying in nature)
- Trade Test (TT) (Qualifying in nature)
- Primary Medical Examination (PME)
The final merit will be based on the marks in the written exam, subject to qualifying the PET, TT, and clearing PME.
Syllabus for Written Examination:
- Draughtsman: Questions on simple mathematics, mensuration, Civil engineering drawing, Quantitative aptitude, and General Knowledge.
- Hindi Typist: Essay in English & Hindi (12th Std level), Sentences in Hindi & English, English & Hindi grammar, Letter writing in English & Hindi, Proverbs, idioms & phrases, Translation of passage from Eng to Hindi, Questions on Arithmetic, and General Knowledge.
- Store Keeper Technical: Accounting of Stores, Receipt, inspection & preservation of stores, Storage & precautions of stores (including fire protection/fighting), Stock verification of stores, Packaging & preparation for dispatch of stores, Maintenance of stock ledger, Security of Stores, Questions on arithmetic, General Knowledge, and English (12th Std).
- Operator Communication: Inspection, Maintenance & repair, and Installation of tele communication equipments, Wireless and line theory, Questions on condensers and valve theory, Propagation of wireless waves, Transmitter and receiver, Power supply system, Exchange switch boards, Maintenance of records, English (10th Std), and General Knowledge.
- Operator Excavating Machinery (Ordinary Grade): Maintenance of Dozer/Excavators, Use of Oils / lubricants, Daily / periodic checking, Use of tools, Traffic Rules, and General knowledge.
- Electrician: Wiring of all types of vehs/eqpt (including house wiring), Charging batteries, Maint of elect machinery held in Wksp, Simple electrical calculations, Measuring and testing instruments, Electrical motors and generations, and General knowledge.
Apply Procedure:

- The application form and admit card must be submitted in the prescribed format only, with a signature and photograph (not older than three months).
- The application form should be printed on good quality A4 size bond (75 GSM) paper using one side only.
- Candidates must super scribe the envelope with “APPLICATION FOR (NAME OF TRADE/POST) Under Category (UR/SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ PWBD/ESM/CPL)”.
- Copies of certificates for proof of residence, essential educational qualification, date of birth, caste certificate, proof of EWS status etc. should be enclosed with the application form, attested by a Gazetted Officer or self-attested.
- Candidates must attach the copy of the e-receipt for the application fee.
