Constable (Barber) – Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognised School or Institution/Board; Candidates will have to pass a Trade Test in the profession. Age Limit: Between 18 to 23 years (as on 28th April, 2026).
Constable (Washerman) – Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognised School or Institution/Board; Candidates will have to pass a Trade Test in the profession. Age Limit: Between 18 to 23 years (as on 28th April, 2026).
Age Relaxation:
SC: +5 years
OBC (NCL): +3 years
Ex-Servicemen (OBC/NCL): 6 years (3 years + 3 years) after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age

Selection Process
Phase I: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)
Phase II: Written Examination (50 Marks)
Phase III: Trade Test (50 Marks)
Phase IV: Verification of Original Documents and Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/Review Medical Examination (RME)
