Eligibility Criteria:
Scientist-C –
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. (Physics/Applied Physics) with a consistently good academic record (Class-X onwards with at least 60%) from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates slated to complete their M.Sc. course in the academic year 2025-26 are also eligible to apply, provided the final degree is available at the time of the interview.
Age Limit: 26 Years
Junior Engineer-C –
Educational Qualification: Diploma (Electronics) from a recognized university/institute with a consistently good academic record (Class-X onwards with minimum 60% marks).
Age Limit: 30 Years
Library Assistant-C –
Educational Qualification: B.Lib. with B.Sc. and 4 years’ experience in the field of operation of a computerized library.
Age Limit: 34 Years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: +5 years (against reserved posts only)
- OBC: +3 years (against reserved posts only)
- PwBD (minimum 40% benchmark disability): +10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Length of Military Service plus 3 years
- Central/State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/University/Research Institute employees with 3 years’ regular service: +5 years
- IUAC employees (Group-A posts): +5 years
- IUAC employees (Group-B posts): up to 40 years (45 years for SC/ST candidates)
Salary Details:
- Scientist-C – Level-10 (Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500); initial appointment as Scientist Trainee with a stipend of Rs. 55,000/- per month during the one-year training period
- Junior Engineer-C – Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400)
- Library Assistant-C – Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400)
