Eligibility Criteria:
- Security Guard –
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be Ex-Servicemen/Ex-Agniveers from the Army, Navy, or Air Force. Pass in 10th standard or its equivalent examination (candidate should not have passed Graduation examination or its equivalent); should be able to speak, read and write in Tamil language. Ex-Servicemen who do not hold this civil qualification are also eligible if they are matriculate and have obtained the Army Special Certificate of Education (or the corresponding Navy/Air Force certificate) after completing at least 15 years of service in the Armed Forces, provided the certificate is dated on or before the cut-off date.
Age Limit: 18 to 26 Years (as on 01.08.2026)
Age Relaxation:
- General: 26 Years + actual period of service rendered in the Defence Forces + 3 Years (subject to a maximum age limit of 45 Years)
- SC/ ST: 31 Years + actual period of service rendered in the Defence Forces + 3 Years (subject to a maximum age limit of 45 Years)
- OBC: 29 Years + actual period of service rendered in the Defence Forces + 3 Years (subject to a maximum age limit of 45 Years)
- Agniveer: 21 Years + actual period of service as Agniveer + 3 Years
