AIIMS Recruitment 2026: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released an official notification for the recruitment of Nursing Officer posts through NORCET 11 (Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test).
Candidates who have completed their B.Sc (Hons) Nursing/B.Sc Nursing or equivalent qualification recognized by the Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council are eligible to apply for these posts. Eligibility Criteria:
• Nursing Officer –
Educational Qualification: B.Sc (Hons) Nursing/B.Sc Nursing degree from an institution/university recognized by the Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council. OR B.Sc (Post Certificate)/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree from a recognized institution/university, along with registration as a Nurse and Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council. OR Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from an institution/board recognized by the Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council, with registration as a Nurse and Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council, and a minimum of 2 years’ work experience (after acquiring the essential qualification) in a hospital with at least 50 beds, in a capacity suitable to the AIIMS institution applied for.
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years (age relaxation as per the respective AIIMS institution’s recruitment rules)
Age Relaxation:
• SC/ ST: +5 years
• OBC: +3 years
• PwBD (Gen/ EWS): +10 years
• PwBD (SC/ ST): +15 years
• PwBD (OBC): +13 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. Policy
Salary Details:
• Nursing Officer – Pre-revised Pay Band-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- (Level 07, Group B)
Selection Process
• Stage I: NORCET Preliminary Online CBT Exam
• Stage II: NORCET Main Online CBT Exam
Application Fee:
• General/OBC – Rs. 3000/-
• SC/ST/EWS – Rs. 2400/-
