Eligibility Criteria:
- Principal –
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree from a recognized University/Institute; Bachelor of Education from a recognized University/Institute, along with ten years’ experience of teaching (as Vice Principal/Post Graduate Teacher/Trained Graduate Teacher) in a recognized High School/Higher Secondary School/Senior Secondary School/Intermediate College.
Age Limit: 50 years for UR/EWS, 53 years for OBC, and 55 years for SC/ST.
- Vice Principal –
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree from a recognized University/Institute; Bachelor of Education from a recognized University, along with two years’ experience as Post Graduate Teacher OR three years’ experience as Trained Graduate Teacher.
Age Limit: 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC, and 40 years for SC/ST.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ ST: +5 years
- OBC: +3 years
- PwBD: +10 years (subject to maximum age limit of 56 years)
- Central/UT Government Employees: +5 years
- Ex-Servicemen: +5 years
Salary Details:
- Principal – Level-12 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
- Vice Principal – Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
