Eligibility Criteria:
- Library Information Assistant
- Details: Graduate degree from recognized University with Bachelor’s degree in Library Science from a recognized University.
- Age Limit: 18 – 27 years.
- Technical Assistant (Field/Lab Research)
- Details: Bachelor degree in Science from a recognized University with Botany/Zoology/Forestry/Environment/Ecology/Bio Technology/Genetics/Micro-Biology/Bio-Chemistry/Geology as one of the subject.
- Age Limit: 21 – 30 years.
- Stenographer Grade II
- Details: 12th Class certificate from a recognized Board, minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Stenography in English/Hindi, and a Certificate Course in computer applications with a typing speed of 5 key depressions for each word.
- Age Limit: 18 – 27 years.
- Technician (Field/Lab Research)
- Details: 10+2 in Science with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Age Limit: 18 – 30 years.
- Store Keeper
- Details: 12th pass from a recognized board.
- Age Limit: 18 – 27 years.
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
- Details: 12th class certificate from a recognized Board, and typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.
- Age Limit: 18 – 27 years.
- Forest Guard
- Details: 12th Pass with Science from a Government recognized Board.
- Physical Standards (Men): Walk: 25 Kms. in 4-hours; Height: Minimum 165 cms; Chest: 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm with expansion.
- Physical Standards (Women): Walk: 14 Kms. in 4 hours; Height: Minimum 150 cms; Chest: 74 cm without expansion and 79 cm with expansion.
- Age Limit: 18 – 27 years.
- Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)
- Details: 10th pass from recognized Board/standard recognized school. Desirable: 3 years or more experience in the relevant field.
- Age Limit: 18 – 27 years.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: +5 years against reserved posts only.
- OBC: +3 years against reserved posts only.
- PwD (minimum 40% disability): +10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC) for the relevant category of disability.
- Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Defense Service Personnel: Period of Service rendered in Army/Navy and Air force plus 3 years (8 years in case of disabled defence service personnel belonging to SC/ST) for Group C posts.
- Central Govt. Civilian Employees (3+ years continuous service): Up to 40 years of age (45 years for SC/ST).
- ICFRE Permanent employee: No age limit for Technician (Field/Lab Research), Technician (Maintenance), Technical Assistant (Field/Lab Research) and relaxation up to 5 years for all other posts.
Selection Process
The Selection process involves the following stages:
- Stage-I: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Stage-II: Descriptive Paper
- Stage-III: Skill/Trade Test (where applicable)
Online Test Details (Scheme of Examination) – Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):
The Computer Based Test (CBT) may be held for all posts. Final selection will be based on marks secured in the CBT only, provided candidates qualify in the descriptive and skill/trade test (where applicable).

Note: There is a negative marking of 1/4 Mark for each wrong answer for LDC, Forest Guard, Steno Grade-II, Store Keeper, Library Information Assistant, and MTS.
Descriptive Test Details (Stage-II)

- Forest Guard: Physical standards verification followed by 25 km walk for Men and 14 km for Women in 04 hours
- Steno. Grade II: Stenography Test
Application Fee:
- SC/ST/PwBD/Female applicants: Rs. 700/- (Processing fee only).
- Others (Gen/OBC/EWS): Rs. 1500/- (Rs. 800 Application Fee and Rs. 700/- processing fee).
