The Human Capital Management (Recruitment & Promotion) Central Office has released a detailed notification inviting eligible graduates across the country to apply for 4,500 Apprentice training seats under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for the financial year 2026-27.
The registration window is open from 12 June 2026 to 22 June 2026, so you have a very narrow runway to get your application in.

Eligibility Criteria (Cut-off Date: 31.05.2026)
Before you register, make sure you meet every single condition listed below. The cut-off date for all eligibility parameters is 31 May 2026.
Nationality
You must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, or a person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries — provided the Government of India has issued you a certificate of eligibility.
Age Limit (as on 31.05.2026)
Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years. In plain terms, you must have been born between 31 May 1998 and 31 May 2006 (both days inclusive). The upper age limit mentioned is for General/EWS candidates.

Educational Qualification
A Graduation degree (in any discipline) from a University recognized by the Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Crucially, candidates must have completed their Graduation on or after 01 January 2022. You will be required to produce your marksheets and Provisional/Degree Certificate whenever the bank asks.
Other Mandatory Conditions
- You must be registered on the NATS portal (https://nats.education.gov.in) before applying.
- You should NOT have previously undergone or be currently pursuing an Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act 1961 in any organization.
- Candidates who have had training or job experience of one year or more after completing their qualifying degree are not eligible.
- Students who have completed a Post Graduate degree are not eligible.

Selection Process
The selection is a two-stage process: an Online Examination followed by a Test of Local Language. Final selection is also subject to satisfactory document verification and medical fitness.

Important: There are no negative marks for wrong answers. The exam is to be given from your own home on your own device — no admit card or examination centre travel required. Merit will be decided based on marks, and in case of a tie, the older candidate gets preference.
Test of Local Language
Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the official/local language of the state they are applying to. Those who have studied the specified local language at 10th or 12th standard level are exempt from this test.

How to Apply — Step-by-Step
- Step 1: Register on the NATS portal at https://nats.education.gov.in (under the ‘Student Register/Login’ section). Complete your profile 100%.
- Step 2: After NATS registration, search for the Central Bank of India Apprenticeship advertisement on the portal and apply.
- Step 3: Note down your NATS Enrolment ID carefully — you will need it throughout the process.
- Step 4: You will receive an email from BFSI SSC ([email protected]) inviting you to register on https://beep.bfsissc.com.
- Step 5: On the BEEP portal, fill in your category, preferred training districts, and pay the applicable application fee online.
- Step 6: Save and print your final submitted application form for future reference.
Training Conditions, Stipend & Benefits
- Monthly Stipend: ₹15,000/- for the entire 12-month engagement period.
- Leave: One casual leave per month. Bank holidays are also applicable. No other leave type is permitted.
- Working Hours: Same as clerical staff of the bank. No overtime is permitted.
- No transport, hostel, or residential accommodation is provided during the apprenticeship.
- After completing the programme, apprentices may need to clear an assessment test to receive their certificate.
- Important: Apprentices are not employees of the bank. The bank has no obligation to offer regular employment after the training period.
