Eligibility Criteria

Scientific Officer (C) – Posts 1, 2 & 3
- Post 1 (OBC – IT/Networking): Full-time BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 60% marks; 1.5–3 years’ experience in System/Network Administration.
- Post 2 (UR – Cryogenic Engineering): Full-time BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks; minimum 2–3 years’ experience in cryogenic engineering.
- Post 3 (UR – NMR Facility): Full-time M.Sc. or BE/B.Tech in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Instrumentation or relevant discipline with 60% marks; minimum 1 year NMR Spectrometer operating experience.
Junior Engineer (B) – Post 4
- Full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (60% marks); 2 years’ experience in supervising large Air-Conditioning system maintenance.
Scientific Assistant (B) – Posts 5, 6 & 7
- Post 5 (SC – IT Support): Full-time B.Sc. or Diploma in Engineering in Physics/Chemistry/CS/IT/Electronics or related field (60% marks); minimum 2 years’ IT support/networking experience.
- Post 6 (UR – HPC/Linux): B.Sc. or Diploma in CS/IT Engineering (60% marks); minimum 1 year programming/scripting experience.

- Physical Standards: Male – Height 165 cm, Chest 80–85 cm; Female – Height 157 cm. Eyesight: 6/6 minimum, 6/9 naked eye for both eyes with colour recognition.
