Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must carefully verify the eligibility conditions before submitting their applications. Each post carries specific academic and professional requirements.
Medical Officer:
- MBBS degree from a recognized university and registered with a valid Medical Council certificate.
- Post-graduate diploma or degree in Public Health, PSM, Community Medicine, CHA, or Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases is preferred.
- Minimum one year of work experience under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) is required.
Health Visitor (TB):
- Completed Intermediate (10+2) in Science stream from a recognized board.
- Practical experience working as MPW, LHV, ANM, HW, or in Education/Counselling roles.
- Must have completed a recognized Tuberculosis Health Visitor course.
- Computer operation certificate course of at least 2 months duration is mandatory.
Data Entry Operator:
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications from a recognized institution.
- Should be proficient in both Tamil and English typing.
- A government-recognized certification in computer operations is compulsory.
Important Terms and Conditions
- All three positions are purely temporary (contractual) in nature and valid for a period of 11 months only.
- These appointments do not guarantee permanent employment under any circumstances.
- Candidates joining the position must submit a self-declaration undertaking (undertaking letter) at the time of reporting.
- No transfer of vacancy location will be permitted once assigned.
- Candidates must work at the designated posting location and are not eligible for transfers.
- Salary will be provided as per the approved pay structure under the National Health Mission (NHM) guidelines.
