Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualifications by Post

  • Diploma Trainee (Electrical) – DTE: Full-time regular three-year Diploma in Electrical, Electrical (Power), Electrical and Electronics, Power Systems Engineering, or Power Engineering (Electrical). Candidates must have a minimum of 70% marks, or pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD.
  • Diploma Trainee (Civil) – DTC: Full-time regular three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 70% marks, or pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD.
  • Diploma Trainee (Survey) – DTS: Full-time regular three-year Diploma in Survey Engineering or a Diploma in Civil Engineering with survey as a subject, requiring at least 70% marks.
  • Junior Officer Trainee (HR) – JOT (HR): Three-year full-time regular Graduate Degree (BBA, BBM, BBS, or equivalent) with at least 60% marks for General/EWS/OBC (NCL) candidates.
  • Junior Officer Trainee (F&A) – JOT (F&A): Must be an Inter CA or Inter CMA.
  • Junior Technician Trainee (Survey) – JTT (Survey): Full-time regular two-year ITI in Surveyor from a recognized Technical Board or Institute.

Important Educational Restrictions

  1. Higher Qualifications Prohibited: Candidates possessing higher technical qualifications (such as B.E., B.Tech, M.E., M.Tech, PG Degrees, or PG Diplomas) are not allowed to apply for these specific trainee positions, regardless of whether they also hold the required diploma or ITI.
  2. Final Year Students: Students in their final year or semester who expect their results by July 15, 2026, are provisionally eligible to apply.
  3. Recognized Institutions: All qualifications must be from recognized statutory bodies such as UGC, DGT, AICTE, or ICAI.
  4. Percentage Calculation: Percentages must be provided without rounding off. If only CGPA is awarded, it must be converted to a percentage based on the institute’s certified procedure or a standard formula (CGPA divided by maximum possible CGPA, multiplied by 10).

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 27 years for all positions as of May 11, 2026. This limit applies to the following posts:
