Eligibility Conditions:
Age Limit: (as on 01.07.2026)
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:
- SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, and BCMs: No maximum age limit for most posts.
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): Additional 10 years age concession (e.g., 42 years maximum age for posts with a 32-year limit for Others). Note: Persons with benchmark disability are not eligible for the Statistical Assistant post.
- Ex-Servicemen: Age concession up to 50 years for certain posts (e.g., Assistant Engineer, Assistant Geologist).
- Destitute Widow: Age concession applies for certain posts (e.g., up to 37 years for Assistant General Manager / Regional Manager).

Selection would be based on:
- Written Examination (Paper-I and Paper-II)

The written examination tentative papers include:
- Paper – I: Tamil Eligibility Test, General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability (Subject Code: 503)
- Paper – II: Subject Paper (Varies by post, e.g., Civil Engineering, Architecture, Chemistry, etc.)
Application Fee:
For the Combined Technical Services Examination (Non-Interview Posts), the application fee details are as follows:
- One-Time Registration (OTR) Fee Amount: Rs. 150/-.
- Validity: Successfully registered OTR is valid for five years from the date of registration.
- Requirement: It is mandatory for all candidates to register at the OTR platform before applying for any examination.
- Examination Fee : Basic Fee: Rs. 100/- per recruitment application.
- Additional Subject Papers: Candidates must pay an additional Rs. 100/- for every additional subject paper opted for in the online application.
- Payment Mode: Fees must be paid online through Net Banking, Credit card, Debit card, or UPI on or before the application submission deadline. Offline modes like Demand Drafts or Postal Orders are not accepted.
Apply Procedure:
- Candidates are required to apply online by using the Commission’s website www.tnpscexams.in.
- The candidate must first register at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform.
- After registration, proceed to fill up the online application, choosing the subject paper(s) for which they are qualified.
- After the last date for submission, an Application Correction Window will open for 3 days from 29.06.2026 to 01.07.2026 to edit details.
